The inspection of lifting equipment includes a documentation check (Technical File check), and in addition, on-site supervisory, technical and operational checks.

Following the assessment and in the absence of non-compliances, a Certificate of Suitability is issued in accordance with the requirements of the current National Legislation (Government Gazette 1186B/2003).
