SWISS APPROVAL maintains well organized offices for the provision of Inspection and Certification services in Greece, with headquarters in Greece and Cyprus respectively.
SWISS APPROVAL TECHNISCHE BEWERTUNG SA (GEMI No. 122183407000) has been operating in Greece, in the Industrial Zone of Elefsina in privately owned premises since August 1999, and since 2005 a local office has been developed in Thessaloniki, with a significant presence in the market of Northern Greece, as well as in Heraklion, Crete, with activity in specialized sectors.

SWISS APPROVAL SOUTH EAST MEDITERRANEAN SEA (SEMS) LTD, is based in Nicosia, Cyprus, and since 2010 has been offering Inspection and Certification services with activities both in the local market of the Megalonesian Sea and the wider market of the Near Middle East. 

From 2003 until March 2015 both of the above mentioned companies operated as full members of the TUV Rheinland Group International Network, under the name of TUV Rheinland Hellas S.A. and TUV Rheinland Hellas LTD respectively, providing services both in the Industrial sector and Management Systems Certification, within the Greek territory (Greece and Cyprus).
Today the companies continue to exclusively represent TUV Rheinland Cert in Greece and Cyprus, serving the entire domestic market that requires TUV Rheinland certificates.
Since May 2015, they have been integrated into the international network of the SWISS APPROVAL INTERNATIONAL Group, and renamed Swiss Approval Technische Bewertung (in Greece) and Swiss Approval SEMS (in Cyprus), addressing an expanded market of 200 million consumers, since our area of responsibility now includes the markets of the Balkans, Turkey, Egypt and the Near Middle East.

The goal today is to further develop dynamically the provision of services in the field of Inspections, Technical Inspections and Certifications both in Greece and in the wider economic area of the Balkans and the Middle East. 
With more than 150 professional engineers as full-time employees, our companies’ strategic objective and central focus is to establish stable partnerships and trusting relationships, a framework which provides a continuous interaction of added value with multiple benefits for the Client.

The added value of Swiss Approval’s services is based on the one hand on the issuance of internationally recognized and highly reliable certificates, specifically designed to ensure the continuous improvement of our clients’ monitored systems, and on the other hand on our investments in the continuous updating of our expertise, taking advantage of modern technology, and always responding to our clients’ requirements.
The framework of cooperation and interaction with our customers is gradually expanding into new areas and fields, considering that quality and safety are becoming increasingly important concepts. As a result of 15 consecutive years of consistency and efficiency of our activities, we have supported in Greece more than 2,000 small and medium-sized enterprises and more than 3,000 individual enterprises that seek our services in order to reliably meet their needs.
It should be noted that according to November 2020 data, the company has implemented more than 32,000 inspection reports over the last five years.
